Course on artists’s legacies at the University of Zurich

On November 5, 2022, Johannes Muselaers, head of collections at the Philippe Vandenberg Foundation, teached a course on artists’s legacies at the University of Zurich in their Executive Master in Art Market Studies. The course focussed on the key concepts and questions surrounding artists’s legacies and their management supported by a diverse range of case studies and an in-depth study of the Philippe Vandenberg Foundation. The workshop-part of the course was centered around the development of own (fictional) estate or foundation with the tools previously provided.
