This film document the solo exhibition Philippe Vandenberg: Abstract Works. The exhibition was held in 2016 in Gallery Baton, Seoul. Background is provided by curator Koen Van Den Broek. On view was a selection of abstract paintings and drawings spanning the years 1998-2009. Made during the last years of his life, they are fundamentally marked by Vandenberg’s personal experiences and persistent state of introspection.
