Art Brussels Talks: Artists Estates (2017)

The panel discussion Art Brussels Talks: Artists Estates took place on the occasion of the art fair Art Brussels. The fair was held at Tour & Taxis in Brussels, Belgium. The panel consisted of panelists Hélène Vandenberghe (Director Philippe Vandenberg Foundation), Stephen Feeke (Director New Art Centre Roche Court and representative of the Barbara Hepworth estate), Shervone Neckles-Ortiz (Artist Program Manager Joan Mitchell Foundation) and Andrew Renton (Professor of curating Goldsmiths College) and was moderated by Philippine Hoegen. Central to the discussion was the artist’s estate’s position in reassessing an artistic oeuvre within the context of art history, the museum and the art market.
